Out Count: 3 in 34

Nina's to see the doc [Pete Berchtold] again in March. He's written out to various departments who have all gotten in touch and today and yesterday we've been to see three seperate specialist. Yesterday, after Lauren had been dropped off at school by my sis straight from my folks house, my sis came over and dropped us off at the hospital... 8.50am the appointment was...eek! ..still, only 5 minutes late and the team was held up in meetings anyway! There were only two incidents where Nina wasn't happy... she did throw a hissy but she got over them very quickly - so proud! of her and me.. we both handled them well and nobody seemed to be giving us any funny looks.. maybe they were all too sleepy to care at that time of the morning ;) ...the test itself was just fun and games but i know the docs were reading far more out of Ninas reactions than i ever could.. apparantly her hearings brilliant and they can't see any need for us to return.. altho we are welcome to call if we have any concerns... bril'yant!! we got back in time for the teletubbies which meant i got at least 20 minutes to put my feet up with the paper and a cuppa tea ...bliss!
Aileen from Portage was coming over at 2 o'clock so we got lunch out the way whilst trying not to drop crumbs everwhere [NOTE TO SELF: must get hoover back from Lizzies house] ...i didn't know what to expect of Aileen... we'd already met Jo and Joanne and they were soooo nice it just wasn't in our favour that she could be brill too.. but nope.. she's ace!! Nina had already had a rummage in her toy bag before she could even introduce herself and was happy to greet her. Aileen kicked off her shoes, accepted the offer of a cuppa and got down to the important business of playing with toys on the floor... i must look into this as a possible vocation *LOL She stayed for nearly two hours ...oops! ..and thought Nina was the bees knees :)
so, whilst we didn't go anywhere we didn't have to we still got out - we're not doing too bad huh :)
