Happy Birthday, Mummys Little Precious

i hope Laurens had a good time today, it seemed she did but who knows what really goes on in the head of your *ahem* average 12 year old?! she got some brilliant gifts and was totally made up with the mobile fone we got for her- finally a fone of her own.. she's had hand me downs and a fone the size of a brick but this ones so cute and girlie.. i'd have it myself if Lauren didn't get in first ...she's been itching to dongle all day so i've promised tomorrow she can have a look for stuff she wants on the net if she manages not to get too giddy between now and then! ...she also got music books and cash, DVDs and the house keys we'd had cut for her were VERY much appreciated -i think she might even say that was the best one *bg -from my folks she got pink bovver boots and clothes [they were never so generous when i was younger :/] and whilst i am sure my sisters intentions were good i think Lauren was much happier with the disposable cameras and photo albums than she was with the utterly UG-LEE watch/jewellry/compact thing she got aswell.. poor thing managed to keep a straight face and thankfully i'd already been shown the offending article previously so i was prepared.. bloody good job cus i might have actually laughed out loud if it was the first time! We had chocolate cake which was delish and Nina was on top form with the candle blowing, plus, having only learnt 'Happy Birthday to You!' the day before, she was quite happy to sing along with the rest of us =) ...its been a long day and i'm ready for my bed now ... crumbs- 12?! Where did the time go??
