Happy Mothers Day

Nina hasn't been sleeping thro the night regularly since she wasn't well last week and so yesterday she had quite a nap in the afternoon.. boy, did that come back and bite me on the arse!! 11pm last night and i was still trying to convince her it was time to go to sleep... thankfully she didn't insist on coming out of her room, and after the last time i left her i really wasn't sure what position i'd find her in when i went back ..luckily- tucked up in bed with Fifi Forget-Me-Not for company =) So this morning i figure at least we're in for a lie in.. but nope.. at 6.30am i'm precariously working my way across the top of the stairs in the dark, fumbling for Nina so we can just get back into my bed and get some more sleep ..now, the time between then and 9.30am is a little hazy; i remember watching Ben walking around in his boxers; i remember hearing Nina giggling but she wasn't in my bed; i remember the rain lashing against the window and i remember hearing Lauren playing her keyboard... next thing i know, Nina and Lauren (and Ben still in his boxers) are walking into the room with gifts ..whoo-hoo! .. i'm made up... i got Man on Fire on DVD and some rechargeable batteries for my camera so expect those up-to-date pictures anytime soon =) i got tea and toast in bed and i got 2 lovely cards- one from the girls and one from Ben thanking me for being the girls mummy *vbg ..its all been a little bit down hill since then.. Ben seems pissed at someone/thing; Ninas gotten really tetchy and Lauren seems miserable and is not doing a very good job of hiding it.. personally, i'm just tired and would like to go to bed :/ .. ...so, Happy Mothers Day to anyone celebrating today =)

Out Count: 10 in 85

so i'm figuring, its Mothers Day and i should go visit my mother at least for a short time. ..i picked up a bottle of Baileys Irish Cream on the way, apparantly she's partial to a bottle quite often but i don't question anything since i stuck my nose in my sisters business last year and promptly got it bitten off! ...so the girls both have a bunch of daffodils and my mum is over the moon to see us and we stay for almost 2 hours without tears *gasps ...well done me!
