Monday Madness: Hobbies

1. How many hobbies do you have? ...hobbies such as pony trekking, or knitting ...nope.. but i do like to read, watch movies, peruse the web, chat to friends... just general stuff
2. Name at least one of your hobbies. ...see Q1 ... i can't really 'name' them ;)
3. What do you like about your hobby? ...i can do them when i please, not feel bad if i don't do them for a while, i can do them for 5 minutes or 5 hours.. i suppose i like my 'hobbies' because they are flexible :)
4. What keeps you from spending more time on any one of your hobbies? ...see Q3.. its a bloody good job they're flexible because kids/family life/other 'in real life' obligations are likely to get in the way very regularly :/
5. Do you have any hobbies that you haven't taken up yet, but would like to? ...there are plenty of things i'd like to do but money/kids/inhibitions get in the way... i look at the adult college courses and think i'd like to learn spanish or better my french, or learn to decorate cakes or write stories.. but i never act on it... mebbe during innitiation week in September i'll give it some serious thought, however, DO NOT hold your breath!
6. Have you ever decided to give up a hobby? If so, why? ...i haven't made conscious decisions to stop doing things that i'd consider a hobby.. i just go thro' phases.. this week i like the 'net.. next week it might bore me a lil!.. i did used to cross stitch a lot but i never used any of the stuff i made.. i found i liked doing it.. but the finshed article wouldn't be something i'd use so i started to only do it when i wanted to make something as a gift butonly there are only so many people you can make personalised items for before they're bored of them
