Whilst You Were Sat On Your Arse!

NB: General Rantage Content: Today i ache and i'm tired and i got gloopy eyes and i'm wearing no knickers!! Nina wasn't at all well yesterday =( ..my dad came over at 9am as he's booked a holiday over the internet but then his computer broke so him, and my mum, are panicking.. i said they could use mine whenever they needed and now we've seen them more since then, than we had previously since New Year :/ ..so, Ninas not well- coughing and spluttering, and i assumed just a cough.. she avoided contact with everyone and just snuggled up on the couch watching television mostly. Dad was here trying to find out prices for car hire and to get intouch with people in Greece who might put them up in various places as they're out there for a month ....my mum turned up and dad had to go as they are putting their own house on the market before they travel.. so mum stopped but just wanted to just show me houses she's seen so things then weren't very productive. All the while Nina is quiet, no whinging but just keeping herself to herself. Aileens dues at 2.30pm and i reckon my folks should be gone by then but no.. Dad came back just after Aileen got here and inbetween Nina fell asleep on the arm of the chair with her arms and legs dangliing down either side.. very cute indeed but it took 10 minutes for her to come round and my mum keeps shouting me in to show me houses that are already sold in Greece *shrugs...why? i think that put Aileen out and i can't blame her but generally she didn't seem her usual enthusiastic self.. Nina wanted to give her a cuddle but i'd like to think she didn't hear rather than ignored her request =( so this week we did cutting and sticking, glueing and glitter.. messy but fun =) ...before Aileen left Nina decided she'd had enough and climbed on the couch and closed her eyes... poor lil mite! Our visits now change from weekly to fortnightly so we'll not see Aileen until the 29th now. Nina slept most of the late afternoon and only got up for tea- which she didn't entertain at all and it was then that i figured this was one of Ninas usual episodes =( Ben gave her a quick bath at 8pm whilst i cleared up the tea dishes, made two cups of tea and Ninas milk, then i went upstairs, took Nina out of the bath, did her teeth, got her dry, attempted to give her milk that she just wasn't interested in and then she got in her favoured position and went to sleep on my bed- not ideal but then i knew she wasn't going to sleep thro the night anyway... so we came down and i made Ben and me some tea. By 10pm Nina was up again so Ben brought her down and she was quite lively so we waited half an hour before Ben took her back up... he didn't come back down and after 20 minutes or so i could hear Nina coughing and gagging again so i got her a drink and went up only Nina had thrown up by the time i got there and Ben hadn't been quick enough to grab the bowl i placed at the side.. so, quick change of jammies and Nina is happy enough to sit singing songs and to tell me that she is hungry.. so we call Ben internally and "place an order, for delivery, of honey biscuits" =) Nina actually ate those without any fuss and she was quite happy to settle again, albeit with a raging temperature, and in my bed still.... so i go downstairs first to watch the second installment of Desperate Housewives and Ben comes down after and is pottering about on the computer... 20 minutes later i'm racing up the stairs (as i can hear faint gurgling) and pull the stair gate out of the doorway its wedge in and pull Nina into a sitting position to stop her choking on her own vomit ..Bens shortly behind me (making sarcastic comments about how the stairgate must have offended me...eurgh!) but once Ninas finished barfing into a bowl i set about clearing up whilst Ben stood there with Nina in his arms (after i'd changed her jammies again). I took off the bedding, found some clean, threw the dirty stuff downstairs, got another duvet out, turned the matress, put on the clean bedding, emptied the bowl and tidied up the bathroom... then Ben asks if i can find some towels to put down incase she's sick again.. now i know where the towels should be.. and Bens just stood and watched me do everything including 'moving so i can get in, and putting everything back once i'm finished' in the bedding box... so ask him if he couldn't have asked me that a few minutes earlier.. and why tha hell did he put not only a duvet on tha kid with a raging temperature, but also a dressing gown on top of that??! ...only he tells me that he "looked after Nina the first time she was sick (the 'in the dark without a bowl' incident mentioned previously) whilst i sat on my arse watching telly!"

I don't think i have anything else to say on yesterday :/
