Anti Climax Much...?

Maybe i was just looking forward too much to the football that when it all finally happened it didn't quite live up to my expectations =( ..where was Diana Ross missing a shot on goal from 3 inches away?? ...apparantly, there is a bit of history in that the opening game of the World Cup is a bit of a damp squid -i suppose thats a lot of hype to live up to- so i'm not going to lose faith just yet but i'm hoping the atmosphere is a little more upbeat from here on in -what we need is a Brazil game- drum beats and samba dancing is ALWAYS the answer -possibly, even regardless of the question =))...i am so excited about the England/Paraguay game this afternoon but why do i fear that England might only manage to 'just scrape a draw' -typically bloody English- "it's not the winning but the taking part that counts" ... my arse, it is!!
