Hear, hear!

My mums had her operation brought forward by a week and is really excited about the prospect of being able to hear with both ears again almost as much as we are looking forward to not having to shout =) ..she is going to have the inner eardrum reconstructed using her own tissue and will be in the hospital for up to five days after surgery... she'd roped me into taking her sleeper earrings out which are the original earrings that were put in the day she got them pierced almost 40 years ago and she hasn't removed them once since... i gave it a go but ended up calling a tattoo parlour in town who said they'd remove them and put them back in for her after the operation- free of charge =) ..how nice is that... so Ian did it, a bald headed fully tattoo'd bloke who i know has a 6" bolt thro the end of his penis *LOL ...i'm not sure if my mum would have gone there if she'd have know so i kept that piece of information to myself ;) ..i've also said i'll go along with her to the hospital (and stay as long as Nina allows it) as my dad has to work altho he has the following 4 days off work thankfully -i'm praying all goes well, between now and the big day =)
