Packed To The Rafters

NB: Massive General Wafflage Content: We've had such a busy day today: we went to the Opportunity Group for the first time in 4 weeks (2 weeks holidays and bad coughs all round) so it was like being the new guys again until we got there and then we were just like old friends- i saw the timetable today and i think there are only 5 or 6 more sessions that we can attend before we are out there in the big ol' world by ourselves- thats both frightening and sad =( Aileen has been wonderful and i think i'll miss her visits just as much as Nina will .. *gulps ..still, the group was fun today- not too crowded for starters- Nina was so excited to be there and quickly re-acquainted herself with all her old favourites... today the sand pit was out, and the spaghetti and scissors.. chubbie pens (see above picture *vbg) playdough and the dolls houses plus the usuals.. Nina seemed to attached herself to a little boy who was really having an off day but his tantrums and boistrous behaviour were making Nina laugh- i felt for his mum but she seemed to take it at face value and appreciated that her son was at least doing something good that morning- poor little mite! Nina was perhaps a touch more tempramental than other times (maybe the heat was getting to us all) but when i asked her if she wanted to join the other children at the table for a drink and a biscuit she jumped up, didn't bother to remove her apron and went to find herself a seat- talk about a complete turn around - i'm so proud of you Nina =)) ..it came to singing time- Ninas most favourite time and she put on her usual all singing all dancing routine in the centre of the mats *L ..we even had complements on her singing voice and how tuneful she was.. goodbyes to EVERYONE (literally) and it was [sings]time to go home, time to go home... we are all sleepy, its time to go home... ;)

i'd only been in the door for just a few minutes when the telephone rang- my heart sank when i heard Laurens teacher explain who she was but she was ringing to make arrangements for the free piano they had offered to us to be delivered to my parents house- i just hope and pray that i've done the right thing in accepting such a huge item without having a look at it first but for just the delivery cost i'm not going to turn it down- i'm petrified that its going to be an eyesore in my parents home tho =/ ..so, i'm just about to hang up when the teacher explains that there is one other small matter *thud (thats my stomach hitting the floor) -it seems that Lauren has been confiding in her piano tutor about life at home and is painting a very gloomy picture =( ..the school are rightfully concerned and i'm glad they've brought it up with my but how can i explain to strangers that actually, Lauren isn't 'The Golden Child' regardless of how extraordinarily well she can play musical pieces and there will be times when she will be punished for her behaviour -right now i'm feeling like a bad mother and i apologise to my parents for what i know i put them thro ...payback sucks, huh =/ ...i decided i was going to talk to Lauren before Ben came over after work as there was no point getting into a battle over what had been said so i spoke to her rather than raised my voice and she seemed to understand a little bit but whether any of it will sink it, only time will tell
So, there is no atmosphere and we're on our way out- i've 2 medical appointments 30 minutes apart and i'm going to have to keep Nina quiet ...eek!
Stage 1: Nurses office for an asthma check- wasn't so bad- i expected her to go to town on me after admitting that i use my preventative medication less and less and actually, i can't remember what or when i am meant to take it anymore *LOL ..stil, she was impressed that i had stopped using my salbutamol when i am out of breathe rather than wheezy - it's all mind over matter i'm sure =) ..she even weighed me and congratulated me on not putting on any weight between last October and now.. thats not suggesting i've actually lost any however ...oops!
Stage 2: I go to see my own GP -she's nice and understanding and i specifically made this appointment with the intention of laying out ALL my cards on the table but i wanted to discuss it with Ben first and we only ever seemed to fall out when i brought it up so when the appointment day arrived i just wasn't ready.. i gave her enough so she knew what i required from her but i've to go back in a months time and she wants to see improvements as well as take bloods and give me my iopsy results.. on top of going to the opticians.. sheesh!
So, the docs is dealt with and i'm close to my parents and Lauren has gone to pay them a visit so i call over for a brew before having to get home in time to let Ben in who didn't take his keys out with him even tho i told him i wouldn't be about in the afternoon.. grrrr!! ..well, my parents weren't to know that and i'd told them when we visited on Fathers Day that i'd be over for a cuppa so they'd gone to the trouble of making tea for us- beef and vegetables and home made rhubarb pie and custard for pudding- like i'm gonna turn that down- so we stayed and ate and i don't kno whow long Ben was waiting for us before we got back at just after 7pm but he wasn't in too bad a mood so it couldn't have been that long ;)

World Cup 2006: England v Sweden

with 2 games already won it certainly made a refreshing change not to have to panic about the result of the final game in the group stages... but wouldn't it have been nice to have gone onto the knock out stages with a 100% record... not bloody likely, i know *sighs .. so, Owen literally crawled from the pitch just 2 minutes into the match so all the furore about who was going to partner Rooney upfront was pointless- typical! ..the whole game had a much more solid feel to it than the previous 2 games and i do think that was down to Rooneys presence.. granted, it wasn't classic football and i've forgotten pretty much the ins and outs of the game already but we did manage a draw (we'll leave beating Sweden for another year maybe..!) which meant we don't have to get beaten on penalties by the Germans in the next round... Ecuador- here we come =)
we can save beating Germany 5 - 1 til later in the tournament ;)

BB7: Day 34

I thought BB pulled a blinder this week when it came time to nominate =) there are 10 HMs left and 5 of them have been openly discussing nominations thro'out the week.. it was obvious that people weren't learning from being banned from nominating because Imogen hasn't managed a week without being banned yet so BB decided to name and shame the HMs involved so Glyn, Imogen, Lea, Nikki and Lisa had to stand in a line infront of the other HMs and then had to chose 1 other naughty HM to nominate.. the looks on their faces were priceless - tears were shed obviously and the overacting about not being able to pick someone to nominate when they'd all be slagging each other off all week was just wonderful *LOL ...the nomination issue here tho, wasn't about them having to do it infront of the others but it showed them up to the other HMs as people who are talking about nominations.. surely surely someones got to pick up on Imogen doing so much nomination chat.. SURELY?? ...or is it that people are more interested in the fact that it took all of 2 minutes for Imogen and Mikey to get a LOT closer once Grace was out the door.. they go well together i think, and they seem to liven up around each other- Grace really must have been stifling in that house =(

	the punishment for the naughty housemates this week might have saved Aisleyne from being up for eviction this week- and with one of Team Plastic definitely leaving she might be able to avoid possible eviction in the coming weeks too… I like her more and more and she might be my actual favourite now- just don‘t hold me to it ;) NOMINATED: Lisa and Mikey NOMINATED BY: -
	What on earth happened to nice boy Glyn...? This week he was one of the punished housemates and he seems to be getting a bit sly on the side... he no longer spends time fooling around with Pete, but prefers to chat about women, sex and conquests with Mikey.. he is standing his ground with Lisa and Imogen about Aisleyne and how them not liking her won't change his opinion of her which shows at least some integrity but i think Glyns popularity on the outside might waiver just as quick as it built up momentum ...bad move Glyn =( NOMINATED: Nikki NOMINATED BY: Richard
	What an absolute cow! Threw water over Suzie and called anyone who made comment on it a ‘moose’!! Left the house to deafening boo's without the slightest remorse for ..well.. anything 'I'm only 20', 'its what girls do', 'fierce' ...eurgh!! ...the sooner she is off my telly for good the better
	nearly.. nearly.. *groans... ooooh.. not quite!! yet again Imogen has been punished for talking nominations- maybe she didn‘t think it would count if she spoke it in her mother tongue with Glyn… I think Grace was holding Imogen back and we‘ve probably heard more from Imogen this last week than the previous 4 …I think she is safe this week from eviction but only because there are other bigger characters that offend NOMINATED: Lea NOMINATED BY: Pete and Richard
	’It’s maternal!’, ’It’s maternal!’ .. surely Pete telling Lea that he couldn’t kiss her during spin the bottle because it would be like kissing his mother should have given her some indication of his feelings for her… but nope..well… kinda..? …Leas take on Pete now, it seems, is that if she can‘t have him, then nobody else can and she‘s determined to get in the way of any blossoming relationships before they‘ve even begun -Aisleyne, Nikki, Lisa.. she‘s dissed them all along the way NOMINATED: Imogen NOMINATED BY: Imogen and Mikey
	Lisa threw a royal wobbler last week- well, actually, she threw a lil pink bike across the room and was promptly called to the DR to calm down (whatever happened to formal warnings from BB?) …Aisleyne had overheard Grace talking to Imogen and Lisa before she left about the water throwing incident and whether she should do it.. once Grace had gone Aisleyne shared this info with Suzie, Pete and Richard and Lisa was soon there gobbing on that she had nothing to do with it, with Imogen too …Aisleyne kept her calm and Lisa didn‘t -at all ….cue bike throwing and Richards troll dancing *PMSL NOMINATED: Nikki NOMINATED BY: Nikki, Aisleyne, Pete and Suzie
	Prince What-a-Prick is back… in only a matter of days he grew on me.. And then I brushed him aside =) NOMINATED: Lea and Suzie NOMINATED BY: Aisleyne and Suzie
	Nikki has said it herslf numerous times that nominating is all part of the BB experience.. altho funnily, she doesn't see it that way if she is up for nomination *L .. and so for the second third week Nikki is up for nomination and for the second third week i want her out.. but i don't mind if she stays... i think ;) Q. do i hate to love, or love to hate Nikki..? 	Pete seems really unhapy at the moment but still hasn't gained a single nomination from anyone (i think that makes him the only one now) NOMINATED: Lisa and Imogen NOMINATED BY: -
	Richards troll dance infront of Lisa might be my highlight of the series so far *LOL .. she took it so well too ;) ..i might have started to back him to win if he'd have actually bopped her on the nose but he'd have been out of the house in a flash if he had... hmmmm ...2 birds, one stone NOMINATED: Imogen and Glyn NOMINATED BY: -
	Suzie first week in the house wasn't really as eventful as it could have been and i think that the nomination twist this week would have saved her the usual 'late comer/first chance to get her out' eviction ..I think receiving a tumbler of water in the face made it well aware to Suzie who was with her and who was against her which should be a useful tool when it comes to choosing who to trust- so far she's spent time with everyone bar Team Plastic but thats more their doing than Suzies NOMINATED: Lisa and Mikey NOMINATED BY: Mikey
