Photo Friday: Happiness Is...
This photograph was one of 4 36exp films that we used just before X'mas to get some photographs to put in frames for the grandparents as gifts... Nina was still struggling with her SCD at this time but i remember seeing this picture and knowing that we WOULD break down those barriers ...there's absolute delight in her eyes and her puffed up cheeks just add to her happiness ...this is one picture that i chose to frame for myself as my own X'mas treat

That's a great shot. Why'd you go for black and white as opposed to a sepia filter?
Funny you should say that.. the original picture was in colour but i did make both sepia and b/w copies ...eventually, i chose to print a b/w print because the frames i have are silver...
i have used sepia a lot before- the little piccie up top is sepia see :)
