Photo Friday: Poverty
this weeks challenge made me think- poverty isn't something i'd consider a daily visual- remembering everythings relative- aside from the very occassional homeless drunk asleep on the park bench i don't think i've every truly seen poverty first-hand.. i could either go search for my poverty picture or tweak the meaning of the word to suit me, use it as 'what is poverty for me, not to me?' so whilst my final ideas for this weeks photographs were all 'do-able' the intense heat made going out even more difficult that usual so i stuck with something closer to home-

Indeedy it is... "One mans garbage is another man's treasure." that is. My diatribe was more a satire on how twisted my thinking was. Of course we were poor, but in our poverty we were the richest of all.
