World Cup 2006: England v Ecuador
Well, its a good job Ecuador are as shit at playing football as England are right now or we might just be packing our bags tonight and getting an early morning flight home!! ...what was all that bobbins about? ...no one bothered passing the ball up to feet which meant Rooney (who was playing his lil heart out i might add) was doing far too much running around the pitch and was shattered by the 65th minute.. Ashley Cole was trying his hardest, along with Owen Hargreaves, to keep a check on the defense and Beckham played his role as he should even tho he was ill before kick off which resulted in him throwing up after scoring a trademark free kick goal in the 60th minute (thats showing too much emotion maybe *LOL) ...but other than that i don't remember anyone on the pitch actually doing anything... and why, Sven, would you think about letting Lennon and Downing come on in a match where if we loose we're out? ..why not let them play against Sweden last week? ..why not figure out the team before the tournament started even.. i mean Walcott?? ..when will you think the time is right for him to step on the pitch for the first time ever- in the final?? ...grrrrrr ...still, Holland went out to Portugal in a 'mans game' of football where 16 yellow cards were shown and each team finished the match with only 9 players on the field so at least our game against Portugal on Saturday will be against a depleted side due to bans, injuries and possibly FIFA will step in with words to Figo about that lil headbutting incident ...England versus a depleted Portugal... we might scrape a win.. just =/
